ARC and Graduate Studies Petition Forms
The Academic Regulations Committee (ARC) petition and Graduate Studies process occurs at the College level. Undergraduate students submit ARC petitions through Archivum. Graduate students submit graduate studies petition to the Office of Graduate Studies. It is the student's responsibility to obtain, complete and submit all documentation required by this process. Incomplete petitions will not be considered.
Major Reselection
As part of Undergraduate Studies, Academic Enrichment offers major re-selection services to students who have been reselected by their college. If you have been notified by your college that you must choose a new major, utilize the resources through Undergraduate Studies to help find your new major.
Military Withdrawal
911 may withdraw due to active military service (F.S. 1004.07). Withdrawn courses will be designated with a grade of WC, Withdrawal with Cause, on the academic transcript. Withdrawals due to active military are processed without penalty and students are not responsible for tuition and fees. Supporting documentation is required.
Waiver Forms
Repeat Course Surcharge Waiver
If you are attempting to remove a Repeat Course Surcharge (RCS), you must complete the following form and indicate what happened the prior two or more attempts. Be sure you are completing this form within six (6) months of the end of the semester. These must go through a committee and can take up to 30 days to review and process and are not guaranteed to be approved. For more information, please contact the Registrar's Office.

Online Free Seat Waiver Program
Pursuant to s. 1009.26(19), Florida Statutes, and Board of Governors Regulation 7.008 Waivers and Exemptions of Tuition and Fees, the state university Online Free Seat Program was created to encourage veterans, active-duty members of the United States Armed Forces, active drilling members of the Florida National Guard, and nontraditional students to enroll in an online baccalaureate degree program at a state university.
Out of State Veterans Tuition Exemption
HB 7015-Florida GI Bill, created the “Congressman C.W. Bill Young Tuition Waiver Program.” This will waive out-of-state tuition fees for honorably discharged veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces, Reserves, or National Guard who physically reside in Florida while enrolled at a Florida state university. The waiver is applicable for 110 percent of the required credit hours of the degree or certificate program in which the student is enrolled.
Out of State Waiver Eligibility Process
Bill HB 851- Postsecondary Education Tuition and Fees is a new law that allows students, including but not limited undocumented students who meet certain guidelines, to receive waivers to attend college at Florida resident (instate) tuition rates. These nonresident students, who do not have sufficient ties to Florida as set forth under Florida School Code (SB-20E) Section 1009.21 may qualify for an out-of-state tuition waiver.
Child Protection & 911lfare Tuition Exemption
Section 402.403, Florida Statutes, established the Child Protection and Child 911lfare Personnel Tuition Exemption Program for the purpose of recruiting and retaining high-performing individuals who are employed as child protection and child welfare personnel. For those personnel who meet the requirements of the program up to 6 credit hours of courses per term are exempt from the payment of tuition and fees at a Florida state university.
