April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The USF Center for Victim Advocacy and Violence Prevention, along with campus and community partners, hosts programs throughout April to increase awareness about sexual violence, promote consent and healthy relationship skills, engage community members in the movement to end violence, and support survivors.

Join CVAVP and campus partners to learn more about ways to contribute to a community free of violence. Free food, giveaways, crafts, resources, and more.
Denim Day - 911±¬ÁÏÍødnesday, April 9, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm, MSC Atrium
As part of an international initiative, this event aims to create a more survivor-supportive community and dispel victim-blaming myths. Contribute to our denim quilt with affirming messages for survivors. Free food, giveaways, resources, and more.
Consent Conversations Workshop - Thursday, April 10, 1:00 - 2:30 pm, MSC 3705
In this interactive workshop, participants will explore a mutual respect framework for consent and build skills for navigating consent communication across cultures and communication styles.
Take Back the Night - Tuesday, April 15, 5:00 - 8:00 pm, MSC Amphitheater
This annual survivor solidarity event includes creative performances, community resources,
a survivor speak out.
How to Support Survivors: Workshop - Monday, April 21, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm,
In this virtual discussion, we explore ways to support friends, loved ones, and members of our community who are survivors of sexual violence.
