Dr. Schanbacher’s Latest Collaborative Publication Explores Community Approaches to Food Sovereignty

Dr. William Schanbacher has co-authored an article in the Journal of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Community Development titled This community-engaged research project was developed in collaboration with local partners and centered on the voices and experiences of food-insecure neighborhoods in Tampa. By combining academic insight with grassroots participation, the team created a practical toolkit to help communities assess and transform their local food systems. The work highlights the power of partnership in advancing food sovereignty and health equity.
